XSMP Material Preset Library
All our materials have been tested by professionals on real projects and were highly appreciated. Each material has been meticulously designed to allow professionals and newcomers alike the ability to produce stunning imagery with ease.
The materials have also been expertly optimized for both speed and quality.
We take the guess work out of creating superb looking materials, leaving you to focus on the more important parts of your project.
Choose from hundreds of unique textures and easy-to-use pre-built material presets to use in your 3ds Max scenes. Libraries includes everything you need to create stunning renderings at a fraction of the time and cost normally required for this level of quality.
The material presets library is available only in PRO and STUDIO editions.
Libraries use only high-quality textures (4K and up). The bitmap textures are stored in one directory to ensure that maps are found when materials are loaded. All libraries (for example, for V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Redshift) use the same textures directory – just specify a folder path in XSMP settings tab. The textures directory may be on a local or network drive.
The texture directory uses a lot of disk space (around 17GB).
Some materials in preset libraries use our custom plugins. Plugins are included in an installer, but if you need to install in addition (for example, to install on network computers), they can be downloaded for free here.
Please note, these plugins are incompatible with V-Ray GPU and Redshift.
All our plugins are fully compatible with Corona Renderer.
Plugins must be installed on all computers that will render the materials.
In the presets library for V-Ray most materials are compatible with V-Ray GPU. They are marked with a blue icon RT.
