Added support for custom icons and colors – Users can now assign custom icons and icon colors to virtual directories in the MATERIALS and TEXTURES modules for better organization and visual clarity.
The current update includes 50 built-in icons, specifically designed for Material categories in the MATERIALS and TEXTURES modules. In future updates, we plan to add more integrated icons and introduce the ability for users to upload their own SVG icons.
At the moment, the icon color selection is limited, featuring carefully chosen pastel monochromatic shades that align with the overall XSMP GUI design concept.
As before, the default icon and color remain unchanged: Folder – medium gray.
Icon information is not stored globally but rather within the user's library database. This means that if multiple users share the same library, they will see the same icons and colors assigned to the virtual directories.
Stay tuned for more enhancements!
